Jane Curle
Jane is from Australia and has been part of the Ministry Team of His Church, Pinetown since 1989.  Jane has pastoral oversight of the Worship and Community Ministries of His Church and she has a passion to see God’s heart for worship and justice lived out practically by the Church in the community.
Jane has three children, Crystal, Casey and Cassidy and two grandchildren, Josiah and Georgie.


Fiona Des Fontaine
Vice Chairperson
Fiona is the Senior Pastor of His Church, Pinetown and her heart is to see communities transformed by Christians living out the Gospel. Fiona identified KwaDabeka, a township near to where the church is located, as a community to reach into, with the vision of helping to meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.  In 1995, Fiona started KwaCare to do just that. Fiona has one daughter, Christie.

Mondli Myeza
Managing Director
Mondli Myeza is a dynamic graduate of the Christian Bible Institute and has a rich history in community development in South Africa. Mondli’s heart is to see people’s lives transformed spiritually, physically and emotionally.
He brings a grass roots perspective to the issues surrounding the local community, in addition to an appreciation for the Zulu culture.  Mondli displays great vision and passion for the work KwaCare does.

Cheryl Watson

Cheryl Watson
Financial Director
Cheryl has been an active member of His Church since 1992.  Cheryl has a passion for seeing NGO’s and NPO’s running efficiently and with total integrity. Cheryl heads up the Financial Sub-Committee of KwaCare and has ensured that, since 2009 KwaCare's financial audits have received an unqualified status. Cheryl has one daughter Richelle and two granddaughters, Jamaica and Brooklyn.

Jacqui Baumgardt - Company Secretary

Jacqui Baumgardt Company Secretary
Jacqui has been a member of His Church since 2007.  Since 2009 she has been a Director and the Company Secretary of KwaCare and has acted in an advisory capacity to the KwaCare Board on various issues. Jacqui has a passion for seeing communities being given a hand-up and not a handout, which is why she supports the vision of KwaCare. Jacqui has two sons, Angus and Gordon.
